I was afraid to try the chobani because it has soo much sugar, so I got the Dannon Light & FIt Greek but it doesn't have alot of Protein - so when I told my nutritionist about it, she said to add at least 2 oz of chobani 0 plain and I'll meet my goal for the morning. Love the blueberry and cherry!

I love the Dannon Light and Fit. I am addicted to the vanilla. For the most part Greek yogurt makes me gag (to thick and sour) but I LOVE this stuff.

I tried the danon light and fit Greek today and I loved it. I do not like Greek yogurt at all but this was really good.

I told my nutritionist the same about greek yogurt...I just couldn't choke down chobani or Oki or something out there. She told me about the Dannon lite one and so looked for it and I like this one. It's still "different" from the other non greek dannon lite yogurt I usually get but, it's more Protein. I've tried the vanilla, strawberry & banana and I like them both. I have a peach one to try but, not that big on peach so we'll see.

Krogers now has a lite Greek yogurt with 6 grams of sugar. It was a great buy 5 for $4.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
