punk.rock.mama 101 Posted August 30, 2012 Omg! That sounds amazing! Never seen it but have found black bean hummus and wasabi edename hummus! Both fantastic! Ooh yes! I've had the edamame as well and it rocks!! Both are soo good for you and ridiculously easy to make! My hubby and daughter both eat it by the bowlful so I make large batches at home often, also good is red pepper, spinach and feta/olive!! jrzygrl72 26 Posted August 30, 2012 Can you eat it in the purée stage? I thought I read somewhere that chick peas weren't recommended, maybe because of gas :-) . I love it too and eat mine with cucumber instead of pita.

I love hummus but have always had it with pita bread, pita chips or carrots, all of which are pretty high in carbs. Gotta try some edamame hummas with cucumbers! 1 punk.rock.mama reacted to this
DLCoggin 1,788 Posted August 30, 2012 Absolutely! Very high in Protein. Also pretty high in calories so you don't want to get carrier away but definitely healthy in moderation. And it tastes great!!
