JustJenn 542 Posted August 28, 2012 At one month post op (now) I was given the okay to eat salad. I agree its a waste of space I really just pick off the Protein and egg I throw in there. I had to find a dressing with less than 5 grams sugar. I found a yogurt ranch & yogurt blue cheese with 1 gram sugar and 1 protein and they taste great (for all the salad lovers out there) its by Marie Calendars. lovealways 287 Posted August 28, 2012 Of course salads have nutritional benefits...leafy greens are good in regards to Vitamins, etc. and Fiber with little to no cals. Not sure when you can have it...but I'd double check with your Dr!
