lovealways 287 Posted August 22, 2012 Well it sounds like I need to ask why 4 weeks! Lol! I was also told to wait 4 weeks!
lovealways 287 Posted August 22, 2012 I'm actually terrified to resume sexual activity given the chances of getting pregnant rises incredibly. My surgeon says to stop BC pills 6 weeks before surgery and for 4 weeks after, so I'm a little hesitant about having sex again. I couldn't imagine just having surgery and then finding out your preggers. Omfgggg.

kiwiladydee 402 Posted August 22, 2012 The have lots of information out there, but birth control pills are less effective because they ate controlled through the gut/stomach, sois the implant in the arm. They recommend something that works with the lower bowels like Nuva ring and/or IUD. The patch is more effective than pills. SusieB29 10 Posted August 23, 2012 As long as you're comfortable have sex whenever you're ready. NOTE my surgeon told me that for 3 months post-op many girls are much more fertile and it's much more likely to get pregnant' date=' so please be careful! Since we can't be on birth control (bc of blood clots) for a month post-op wearing a condom is a must. Also be careful with swallowing, apparently there's 15g/sugar per tablespoon, no one told me and I dumped! Happy humping :'] - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgiversary: 6/11/12 Best information ever! Lmao I'm running to tell my husband! 1 TinyMamiOf3kids reacted to this

kiwiladydee 402 Posted August 23, 2012 I have the depo shot does that work as well' date=' and can I have the shot before surgery??[/quote'] Yes, depo works, but it also causes weight gain and hair loss, its not peoples first choice. I was on it for about a year. Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk
