K so I reach my 50 pounds milestone. Yes, I'm happy and I can wear my old clothes Again, but my underwear and bra sizes have not changed! I just do not see how this is possible. When I look at other peoples before and after pictures it is shocking results! I'm not seeing those same amazing changes. Anyone else experiencing this?

Me! Me! Me! 54 lbs and I can't even buy new clothes. Although I can buy smaller scrubs. Go figure!!! I think all 54 came off my neck, face, feet and abdomen. But left my butt, hips, thighs and boobs alone;)

I am sure it depends on where you are losing it from. I have lost 87 pounds so far and I can still wear my jeans that were tight before surgery. Yes they are really lose and I have to tighten the belt all the way to keep them up. You are losing the weight you are probably just losing from all over equally so there isn't much change in one particular area. Hang in there babe. You will be fine. :)

I am not at that point yet. But I know for my case I was squuuuuuuuueeeeeeeezing my rolls into pants that were obviously a size to small just so I would not go up that one more size.

One thing that I keep in mind from weight watchers is that it is about every 30 lbs is a drop in sizes

Squeezing the rolls Lolz.. I was trying to squeeze my leg into a pants. My legs aren't small enough yet. You know the pork shoulder? Reminds me of my big legs a big pork shoulder.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
