kloveburd 132 Posted August 19, 2012 Am I crazy for saying this? Maybe, but I'm SO looking forward to working out and walking and going for jogs etc. I loved gym class as a kid and love going on walks. It's calming for me, just wish I could do it now without running out of breath and such 1 ladyspl reacted to this

Taylor 1 Posted August 19, 2012 My surgery was 5/4/10. I looked forward to ding physical activities and being able to find clothes at normal stores. It was also nice too not worry about whether or not I would fit in a carnival ride 1 EEsMom reacted to this
kloveburd 132 Posted August 19, 2012 I haven't had my surgery yet, I'm waiting for insurance to approve it now! And then I might be switching doctors because I just moved across the state line into Wisconsin. It won't be for a few months but I'm lookin forward to big changes! Also theme park rides and not having to check or be nervous for whether or not I will be able to fit. It is very reassuring that I know the weight will come off and with following doctors orders it would stay off. I can't imagine myself thinner, so it's still processing mentally but it feels so great to finally begin my life as it should have been years ago! 1 jennamommy reacted to this

crstalww 228 Posted October 13, 2012 I look forward to not being the fat friend and I'm looking forward to life and all that it holds for me since I've been avoiding life. Clothes is a big plus as well as working out and not being worried someone is laughing at me . People can and will be mean no matter what size but still it's how I feel . 2 ladyspl and kloveburd reacted to this

Wow, girl, you took the words right out of my mouth! I hate being "the fat girl" with all my skinny gf's. I avoid many social situations, so that I don't feel people are laughing at me. Did you all see the news anchor who told off that jerk about his nasty "fat hate" email? Now that made me cry! She rocked her response! 3 kloveburd, berniec and cookier224 reacted to this

crstalww 228 Posted October 15, 2012 Yes I did see that but she held it all together so proud of that anchor woman. She said what she had to with class. Worm I hope you hear something soon I'm rooting for you. I get major anxiety at work when I do intakes with strangers going to malls movies dinner anything I am always thinking someone is laughing at me or watching me giggle by. It's hard I hope this ends . So this surgery is going to be my tool and ill be damned if I fail . I have hope and faith on my side to help. 3 berniec, tmorgan and ladyspl reacted to this
