Lebim 381 Posted August 18, 2012 Is anyone else munching on these as much as me? So delicious/nutritious and completely cures all oily fatty salty craving I have! My personal recipe is: • 1 bunch kale • 1 tablespoon coconut oil • sea salt • grated asiago cheese - Preheat oven to 300° - Take apart the kale by separating it from the large stems and breaking it in to bite size pieces - Toss in large bowl with melted coconut oil until evenly coated - Spread out on to cookie sheet (you'll most likely need 2) and sprinkle with sea salt to taste and asiago cheese - Place in oven for 20 minutes or until extremely crisp and slightly browned. I always have to take the crispy ones out and put some back in to the oven for 5 minutes to get the rest completely dry Ugh so tasty. Who needs potato chips? Not I. - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgiversary: 6/11/12 1 punk.rock.mama reacted to this

MsCook 38 Posted August 19, 2012 Wow! I didn't think there was anything you could do to kale to make it taste good! LOL! Will have to try this one.
SoccerMomma73 1,867 Posted August 19, 2012 Curious to try because I thought kale was like the most repulsive thing on the planet!
Lebim 381 Posted August 19, 2012 Not when made in to faux potato chips - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgiversary: 6/11/
jenneliza 257 Posted August 20, 2012 You can also do swiss or parm chips. Cut sliced Swiss into quarters and place on plate. Micro for less than 30 seconds until hard. Parm chips spray plate with Pam and add a few small piles of fresh shredded parm. Micro for about same amount of time. Voila, chips! Not as healthy as kale chips but great in a pinch.
