FatFreeinNC 22 Posted August 18, 2012 Hi everyone! I'm new here and having surgery in November! If you have IBS, did pretty much the same food triggers bother you after surgery? Just trying to get my information ahead of time. Some of my triggers are broccoli, mushrooms, coffee on an empty stomach. Thanks!
TinyMamiOf3kids 1,280 Posted August 18, 2012 I still can't eat chicken. I don't eat the same. I cook but idk if it's a Spanish thing but I make a lot if rice & I cook greasy. Do a lot of frying. I don't eat what I make. I eat a lot of mash Potatie. It's in serving size & I can measure. I also eat frozen food which I never in my life did before surgery. jerz 251 Posted August 19, 2012 Im still pre-op but I hope it changes after surgery. My ibs is getting worse. It's to the point that plain Water triggers it :-( some days I'm afraid to eat and I won't even think about eating outside of my home. It's depressing as hell
