Jen in SoCal 189 Posted August 17, 2012 MoM doesn't work for me. You could try glycerine suppositories or a fleet enema. Not so pleasant but will usually bring relief fast! If that doesn't help call your personal care physician. 1 snowangel81 reacted to this

tp100 25 Posted August 17, 2012 I read in one of the cookbooks for RNY that the author took 1 Vitamin E a day and that helped her. I haven't had surgery yet so just passing on info good luck that's a terrible feeling for sure!
worm2872 635 Posted August 17, 2012 MoM doesn't work for me. You could try glycerine suppositories or a fleet enema. Not so pleasant but will usually bring relief fast! If that doesn't help call your personal care physician. This is what works for me. Last year I was having the same issue and MoM did nothing. I know my BF also recommeded Colace (softner) and most Dr. say it is none harmful and you can take it with RNY. Just check with your Dr.
TryingtobeSuperwoman 17 Posted August 17, 2012 I just started Colace too. Doc recommended it - 100 mg tabs taken at bedtime. The bottle says you can go up to six tabs a day, start with one and build from there if necessary.
