LosingItForMe2011 320 Posted September 30, 2012 NO way of knowing until it's happening. There isn't much to do to prevent it either. Folks try lotions etc but, in the end if you're skin is going to do it, it will. I concentrate more on getting healthy and reaching my weight goal. Once there I'll decide to go with plastics or not....it's yet another major surgery. A friend of mine chose not to have the access skin removed...she said it's a reminder of where she came from. Lebim 381 Posted October 14, 2012 I'm 21 and had the gastric bypass 6/11/12 (I was 20) and just after 4 months I've lost 72lbs from my surgery weight of 263 (I'm 5'8") Yeah I'm starting to get loose skin on my lower stomach... praying it tightens back up though. Idk I still have at least another 50lbs to lose - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgiversary: 6/11/12 1 Clairpooh reacted to this
shrinkingDEE 60 Posted October 14, 2012 I'm 25 and had GB on 7/17. I was 247lbs and I am currently 180lbs (maybe a little less) I still have 40-45 lbs to go but overall I feel great. I do have minor skin sagging in my lower quad area but nothing too major yet.

How many calories did/do you eat a day? What are some of the foods you eat? I am 1 month post-op and just a little worry about the weight coming off so slow. I'm hoping it will pick up again. Thanks Yeah I'm starting to get loose skin on my lower stomach... praying it tightens back up though.
