How Do You Usually Prepare Your Shakes

Recommended Posts

I just made a shake with Water from my fridge and Isopure alpine punch and just blended it. It tastes yucky. I thought maybe it needed to be colder and put it in the fridge for 30 mins and that didn't help. I will probably always use water as I don't care for milk. My surgery date is Aug 27th and I start liquid diet on Monday and wanted to try a few things out. It could be that the Alpine punch from isopure is just yucky!!!

I use Unjury chocolate Protein Powder. I put 24oz of skim milk in a blender, add 1 banana and 1tsp of Peanut Butter, and 3 scoops of Protein powder. Blend until most of the banana chuncks are gone. This is for 1 day. Between the protein powder, skim milk and peanut butter you get about 80 grams of protein. One tip, I usually make it the night before. After blending it's kind of airy. I put it in a container in the fridge and the next morning it has setteled down and tastes like thick chocolate milk. You can replace the skim milk with Water if you can't take the skim.
