kiwiladydee 402 Posted August 12, 2012 WHen I wake up every morning, my throat is so dry, I can't talk. Anyone else experience this??
LosingItForMe2011 320 Posted August 12, 2012 Are you getting enough fluids in each day?If you are...how about.....where you live is it really hot and so the A/C is constantly running? A/Cs take humidity out of the air so that could be part of it as well.
punk.rock.mama 101 Posted August 12, 2012 It could be as simple as not having enough fluids, do you use a cpap/bipap? I do and even with the humidity set top notch I still have a horrible sore throat/dry nose. Maybe try sipping some skim milk as it will help coat with thin mucous? Good luck!! kiwiladydee 402 Posted August 12, 2012 I'm not getting the required amount of 64, but I'm getting fluids. I've been through the dehydration route and I don't want to go back there.
LosingItForMe2011 320 Posted August 12, 2012 I don't get 64 ounces in but, my nutritionist says the fluids in my shakes, milk, popsicles etc all counts. I probably get about 50 in each day....for me its one of the hardest parts to do.
Sandy009 11 Posted August 12, 2012 Well I had the same problem but my doctor told me that is nothing to worry that is from the air tube down our throat during surgery. You will get better I'm one month out and don't get that dry throat feeling any more
