Having read everything I could get my hands on to about RNY I have come across a books called Weight Loss Surgery for dummy's & Weight Loss Surgery Cookbook for Dummy's . Out of all I have read I find these two most helpfull. And as close to what my doctor prescribes . May be others starting their Journy may want to read the first one and the cookbook well can't wait to try some of the recipes in it.

Don't know how much you like to cook...but I also bought a wonderful cookbook called Eating Well After Weight Loss Surgery. The author had the LapBand and all the recipes have been tasted and tested...and pureed. Each and every recipe has instructions for LapBand, RNY and one I never heard of called BPD-DS. And she worked with her nutrionist so its all low fat, low carb high Protein.< /p>

One of my Best Friends (THank you Michele) gave me this book about a week before surgery, I LOVE it !! It was the first this I sat down with after surgery also..
