cottonkime 23 Posted August 9, 2012 Years and years I've been the out going, helpful, active parent at our school... And usually the heaviest! I had RNY May 16th 2012 (262#), so a lot of people have not seen me over the summer. Tonight was a sports meeting. Wow what a difference... I wasn't the heaviest one there! We have a very small school and some didn't recognize me! I've lost 60-70 lbs (192#) since most saw last in May. I also went from a 24 pant- 4x shirt to a size 10 pant and XL shirt. Mentally it was different because when I sat down on the bench and it creaked I didn't feel embarrassed about my size!
~Christi~ 54 Posted August 9, 2012 In my heaviest time (well even now) when I go somewhere I always look to see if I am the heaviest person there. I have surgery 4/20/12 and I am down 88 pounds. I am still doing it. I think its because the numbers I see on the scale. I am still 223 as of this morning. I think I will feel better when I am under 200. Its amazing what this surgery can do in such a short time. I am one that didn't want to go in public or family outings because I was embarrassed about my weight. I hope that changes with the new changes to my body. Good luck in your journey, and Congrats
TinyMamiOf3kids 1,280 Posted August 9, 2012 You ladies are so cool. Remember we will never be the biggest person anywhere. If you look carefully there is someone bigger then us.
