Starbucks On Week 2 Post Op

Recommended Posts

It was my understanding that ordering a "skinny" means nonfat and sugar free. Otherwise it would be a nonfat latte or sugar free latte. Combine the two and you have a skinny.

The best way to know is to download the starbucks app, skinny does not mean sugar free you do have to tell them sugar free :)

It absolutely does not. Skinny means sugar free and fat free milk without whip.

I'd like to thank our resident barista for clarifying. :P

But it really doesn't. If it just meant nonfat then it would be "nonfat" not skinny. Just because some barista's are dumb and forget doesn't mean that Starbucks standard isn't skinny=sf&nf. Maybe the confusion is "light"? If you ask for a light frappacino it does NOT cover sugar free, just nf milk and light base and no whip, so you do.have to specify sf for that. Really, I promise, skinny DOES mean sugar free and non fat.

Could you clarify this because I have the Starbucks app and all the app does is allow you to use your Starbucks card barcode, show locations and play with your acount. No where on there does it explain what the drinks are.

This is what my app looks like , example of one of the drinks, you can change the sizes of the drink and the information changes a lil. I love this app, I remember thinking Starbucks coffee was too strong , now after surgery I'm there everyday the already know what I want :)

can we all agree that I'm right now?

Are we talking about the Syrup or the drink itself?yes the syrup sugar free. But the drink itself does contain sugar. Not as much as the other drinks but does contain less than 20 mg.

In my town skinny is described on the board. As sf and nf.

Well yeah, milk has sugar. You can't avoid that.

You will never get a sugar free drink if it has milk- physically impossible.

I will concede that you're right...but I make sure and tell my peeps here anyways just to be on the safe side. Wanted to let you all know of the great drink I tried today....I think I have a new fav since I can't have my nonfat iced white mocha anymore:(.
