SusieB29 10 Posted August 8, 2012 I'm with you! Look on the site for them. It will let you see sugar counts and help you to order. I'll be honest I'm a coffee junkie and the no caffeine rule means nothing to me except to watch for dehydration....I'm drinking star bucks coffee as I type at home. As for frapps etc....that's a no to sugar but I know one can get skinny and sugar free just look it up or ask. My local store was happy to suggest sugar free items they offered. A sugar free skinny mocha coffee. I counted the milk in my calories for the day.

I'm not really counting calories as at the moment I'm not getting anywhere near my limit but I am watching for things like sugar and such. I ended up getting a skinny frapp with sugar free French vanilla... Hit the spot perfectly! 2 Winter84 and dstollery reacted to this

kristy3k 1,133 Posted August 16, 2012 I gave up all caffiene and soda the day of surgery. I made my husband buy starbucks the other day just so I could take a big ole whiff...... smelled heavenly!!!!
mbowlin 16 Posted August 16, 2012 My surgeon told me to give up coffee for two reasons: 1) caffeine is a diuretic and we need to be careful about keeping ourselves hydrated. 2) coffee is acidic. It can hurt our new pouch and cause discomfort. I used to drink 5-6 cups a day and now I don't drink it regularly at all. If I do crave coffee, I get a small Decaf and then sip slowly. Winter84 35 Posted August 16, 2012 Download the Starbucks app , it helps me a lot and when you get ready to order just let them know it has to be sugar free, and the will use a sugar sub.. Or tell you what the have that's sugar free or low in sugar. 7*10*

Jen in SoCal 189 Posted August 21, 2012 I'm currently sitting in a Starbucks and have already sucked down half of my venti iced skinny vanilla latte. It's HOT outside and it's delicious. Unfortunately I just looked at their nutrition pamphlet and a venti skinny flavored latte has 22 grams of sugar in it! DOH!!!! How is that possible? The vanilla Syrup is sugar free. Is it from the nonfat milk? Do you think they're counting the lactose? This is not my first skinny latte since surgery. It doesnt cause me any problems. Can someone shed some light on this for me?
