BBdoodle 483 Posted August 6, 2012 Are you following your doctor's eating schedule and eating the appropriate foods? You may be just head hungry. This habit of constantly eating is a difficult one to break. I follow my doctor's orders to the "t". I eat 3 meals a day and have Snacks when I need a little something. When I get home from work I am pretty hungry at times but as soon as I have a couple of table spoon full of food I am stuffed and don't eat anything for the rest of the evening, or maybe a surgar free, fat free ice pop. Have you discussed your problem with your doctor?

PattyKaiser 5 Posted August 6, 2012 Sorry to hear that Pazzo. I wish I could take some of your hunger for you, as I have the oposite effect, I am never hungry and dont eat but a bite or two a day. Your doctors office cant help by setting up a payment option so that you can at least get an appointment to be seen?
DLCoggin 1,788 Posted August 6, 2012 You might find some useful ideas in my post "Managing Hunger"... http://www.rnytalk.com/topic/1493-managing-hunger/page__fromsearch__1
Melsauve 76 Posted August 6, 2012 I went through the same thing at about six months. I needed to start drinking a lot more. My Dr also told me to eat things of substance cuz the foods I was eating like yogurt and granola wasn't staying with me. So I changed m Breakfast to eggs and snacked on almonds when I felt hungry and it really helped. Good luck to you:) 1 DLCoggin reacted to this

My Nut pounds that into my head all the time. The protein releases some sort of hormone that tells our head that we're full. Hope this helps. 1 DLCoggin reacted to this
lovelygirl01 61 Posted August 7, 2012 Hi.. I had the same problem... And i just realized its in my head. You have to get past that and once you do, you'll learn that sometimes thirsty feels like hungry. Drink some Water and it'll go away! I used to think about food 24/7... And now when i have to eat, i make sure its something hethy o just keep me alive.... 1 DLCoggin reacted to this
