When Will Gas And Queasy Go Away?

I wanna tell you it will get better soon but I am too busy burping and feeling nauseous to tell you that !! ; ). I am 3 weeks out today and today was my queasiest day so far !! I am looking forward to a life thin with less gas and being able to eat !! One day' date=' we will get there !!! Stay strong my friend and feel free to whine as much as you want!! Gosh, three weeks out and still queasy? This is getting more depressing! I just want to feel normal and im afraid that will never happen. I read so many stories of people who had the surgery and forever feel this way years and years down the road with simple water! I pray that isn't me!

In regards to taking the acid reducing meds, my doc said I only will have to take them for a few weeks, so no it shouldn't be for life:)
