naterbug 7 Posted August 1, 2012 No one, absolutely no one, can define your destiny unless - you let them. Fiance, mother, father, sister, brother, boss, best friend, worst enemy - no one has that power unless - you give it to them. They can't demand it, they can't take it, they can't force it. No one can stop you from achieving your goal - except you. Sometimes in the heat of battle we have a tendency to mistake "needs" with "desires" and there is a big difference. You NEED to walk to achieve your goal. You desire a friend to walk with. Big difference. You NEED to stay focused on following the protocol that allowed you to lose 45 pounds. You'd like to have your fiance's support. Big difference. You NEED to eat healthy. You'd like it if everyone around you would eat healthy as well. Big difference. You have everything you NEED to succeed. Life is meant to be good. You deserve to be happy. Celebrate the great job you've done already. Commit to never again giving anyone the power to control your destiny. There is nothing you cannot be, do, or have! You're gonna love the new you!! Great advice!! I want you on my team! Beth, I haven't had surgery yet but I want to say you can do this!! I am glad you both talked!. Good luck and good thoughts goihg out for you!! 1 DLCoggin reacted to this

Berlyann 4 Posted August 4, 2012 I haven't had my surgery yet..Aug 15th. But I walk all the time. I have found that I can download books from the library website for free. I download them on my Ipod (but you can download them to your phone as well) and then I listen to them as I walk. It is a great companion when no one else is around to walk with you. Sometimes, I don't want to stop walking because I have a good book to listen to! 2 my3stars and DLCoggin reacted to this

LosingItForMe2011 320 Posted August 5, 2012 DLC....excellent way to bring one back to self. As much as we all would love support, in the end WE have to love ourselves enough to get to goal What an awesome support group we have right here at our fingertips. I for one, appreciate you all. Great job at joining the gym beth! 1 DLCoggin reacted to this
