Is Salmon a healthy fish to eat?

Very healthy! Just make sure you are preparing it healthy. Poach, grill, broil or bake. And make sure you aren't using a sauce full of sugar or carbs! Salmon is one of the healthiest Proteins you can eat!

I bake it and put some olive oil and seasoning and that is it. That ok

Salmon is loaded with omega-3. As long as you don't fry it, bread it, or load it up with sugary marinades, fish is fabulous and loaded with protein! Shrimp, scallops, tilapia, steelhead, trout, catfish, crab, cod, tuna - if it lives in Water and it's not moving, I eat it!

Put the salmon on a sheet of heavy duty foil. Pour a liberal amount of your favorite salsa over it (we like to make our own but Pace is quite good in a pinch as well). Add some thin sliced lemon slices and salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle a generous amount of fresh cilantro on top. Bring the long sides of the foil together and fold them together two or three times - you're making a "tent" to steam the salmon. Make similar folds on one end - your tent has to be air tight. Now add a splash of beer to the other end - the cheaper the better, it's only for moisture. And then seal the second end. Put it in an oven at 400 degrees and bake it for 20 to 30 minutes depending on how thick the salmon is. When it's done, open it carefully and put the salmon and the "sauce" in a bowl. Low cal, low fat, low carbs, super high in Protein and absolutely delicious!!

Sounds yummy thanks! I always made a dry rub with chilli powder, brown sugar, cumin, etc to make a BBQ. Might also try sugar free BBQ Sauce.< /p>

To be honest I don't know (not a beer drinker) but it's definitely carbonated. But you're only using maybe an ounce or so I don't think it will be a problem.

We make a pesto sauce with parsley, olive oil, teaspoon of lemon juice and canned garlic. Put into blender until in a green paste. Put on salmon filets and bake in oven until done. Iif you like it more runny, just put the pesto on a couple of minutes before salmon is done--just to heat it up. It is wonderful.

        Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive).
