carms 40 Posted July 27, 2012 And I feel great! I have read so many posts saying they regretted their decision for the first week but not me. Yes there's the expected pain but I'm 36 hours out of surgery and can get in and out of bed with esse and can walk comfortably. So excited for the rest of my life ahead of me! 1 Kellyk2511 reacted to this

BBdoodle 483 Posted July 27, 2012 At first when I woke up from surgery I was like "OMG why did I do this" of course after the day wore on and I got use to the uncomfortableness I was OK. Once I got up and started moving around and was able to walk off the gas I was good to go and never regretted the surgery after that.

Wps2 57 Posted July 27, 2012 I had thoughts of regret my first night home. I couldn't get comfortable, I was full of gas and couldnt pass gas. my pee stream was weak so naturally I looked up stuff on the Internet and scared my self half to death with stuff I read. But I ended up getting through the night and that was 2 days ago and I haven't had the thought of regret since. I know I have a long way to go still do we shall see. Bert_n_ernie 60 Posted July 28, 2012 Glad you are doing well. I wouldn't say I'm horrible but no matter how much I walk I can't pass the gas & my left side is killing me. Also having trouble urinating l, anyone else having that? Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using RNYTalk
carms 40 Posted July 28, 2012 My roommate at the hospital had a hard time urinating. Drink your three mini cups an hour and with your iv drip out should come. As for pain on the left side yep I got it and gas just walk it out. Three days after surgery I'm still getting rid of gas although it doesn't hurt anymore
