My surgeon said a couple are ok and they are helpful when my stomach is not so happy, but others are allowed no crackers, bread, etc.

I was told crackers and pretzels are "slider" foods. You know they slide right through your pouch without giving you any type of full sensation. They are on my foods not recommended list as well. (List given to me by nutritionist)

I wasn't allowed any bread or crackers until five weeks post-op. When you can eat them, you might want to try Kashi Pita Crisps. I've had the 7 Grain Sea Salt and the Zesty Salsa. Both are 120 cals, 11 crisps per serving, 3g of Protein and 22g of carbs. I enjoy crunchy and these crackers are very crunchy. I eat them with all kinds of things and they really are quite tastey!

i made the mistake of trying one of my daughters goldfish crackers. Went down so easy. Problem is they are addictive! Get them away from me!

I had 1-2 no more honest. I have self control. I see it all day long & look and I don't get that urge to attack and eat it. That was like a once in a life time thing. I don't attack the chips neither. I'm not keeping it out of the house. The Kids should enjoy some junk. They eat vey well.

You may want to try Gerber Graduates Puffs it's a great alternative to chips and crackers.

Mmm the cheddar ones! Dissolve in your mouth bc they are for babies!

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
