I've never had problems with pills but now I kind of gag. And they don't sit we'll in my pouch. And I swear I can feel them. I'm on blood thinners and can't wait till they are done! oh and I was told not to crush them bc I'm still on liquids.

Has anyone else had issues with pills? Any solutions?

They were crushing my pills in the hospital and I am still crushing them per the doctor. I think he's going to have me continue this for at least 6 months.

I'm on liquids so crushing would be difficult to get them down. Coumadin does not taste good lol!

Hi Jenny I am still on liquids too but even in the hospital, tight after surgery they let me have an occasional bite of applesauce becuz that's where they put my pills . Maybe you could try that, I agree some medication is disgusting but the applesauce really helped !! I think you and I are about the same place on our journey ! I had surgery 7/11 ... How bout you ?? Would be great to be buddies !!

That's a good idea -i'll have to get some tomorrow! And you did ok with the applesauce? I'm so worried about dumping! I have to take 6 pills a day for my Coumadin - and I don't think I need it now bc I'm walking so much. Yes, my surgery was on 7/10 so we are right with each other!

I did great with the applesauce - make sure it says "no sugar added" and it shouldn't bother you at all !! It really will help !! Good luck !
