Mkmb2006 41 Posted December 6, 2013 I suppose these are ok if you just HAVE to have a pasta-like product. But they have no nutritional content in and of them selves, and they are highly processed, so I don't eat them (I've tried them). I prefer to use "zoodles" quickly sauteed in EVO, garlic, and basil. Yummy AND gives you the phyto nutrients gleaned from eating a real & whole food> I'm such a health/whole food geek now...I' m convinced that this is part of my successful weight loss, though... That sounds great, but what's a zoodle?!
deaddemmama 474 Posted December 6, 2013 Just saw this old thread about miracle noodles..Trued them...awful, in my estimation. Also a pain to make. If I want Pasta now, I have a few small bites of whole wheat..I still can't eat more than that, or my pouch hurts.

If you don't want to spend $50 (I cook a lot, so I'll use it), Oxo makes a "julienne peeler" for $10, available at Bed, Bath and Beyond. Perfect for zoodles, or sweet potatoes, or carrots, or.... LilBoo007 491 Posted January 15, 2014 Another great option that is much healthier would be to try spaghetti squash. Cut it in half scoop out the seeds. Cook in shallow pan upside down with a bit if Water until tender. Pull it away from skin with fork and it resembles spaghetti. Add sauce and Parmesan and taste really good!
