Lebim 381 Posted July 26, 2012 I've heard of your tastes changing post-op I've heard of people stomach's being able to tolerate some food some days and other not Has anyone experienced your taste buds enjoying certain foods sometimes and other times not? It's happening to me. A few days ago I tried some kale chips and thought they were gross, today they taste great. kiwiladydee 402 Posted July 26, 2012 I have trouble with how Water taste. I also hate how I can smell everything - even plastic!! I only had that experience with eggs. I could not eat it as a soft food at 4 weeks. My Nut told me to try again at 6 weeks. I did, and the first day was great. 2nd day I dumped. lynn 49 Posted July 26, 2012 I am almost two months post op ..... i am finally at a point where the smell of everything doesn't make me wana throw up.
