tamihill 24 Posted July 23, 2012 What it will be like to be thin. I have been heavy my whole life. Or as far back as I can remember. I keep thinking how in the world will all this weight just dissapear. I see the before and after pics of other people who have lost weight. But I don't see that for myself. I try to imagine it. I certainly know that I will have skin left when all is said and done. How does every one else feel about this?

Lebim 381 Posted July 23, 2012 I'm post op and can't imagine it coming off either. I've lost 26 lbs but am waiting for the weight to stop coming off because me being thin just doesn't seem like it could happen in reality - Kaylee Ann ~ Surgiversary: 6/11/12 1 americas_suiteheart reacted to this
pug.twins 26 Posted July 23, 2012 I had my surgery 11/30/2011. I have lost 115 lbs so far. I haven't reach goal yet either. I agree with you about being thin and healthy. It wasn't until recently that I starting feeling a little bit less. I can only contribute that to my clothes literally fall off of me. I do still believe that mentally and emotionally we may still feel that way but with the support and help of others we can strive to feel this way.
