nish 102 Posted July 22, 2012 Is everyone finding it a waste to go out to eat? Have you noticed a savings in your wallet since you can't go out?
jenneliza 257 Posted July 22, 2012 We spent probably $300-400 monthly eating out and even though I've bought lots of Protein powders (still experimenting) there is definitely a savings. Can't wait to start recalculating the household budget!!
sbstylun 57 Posted July 22, 2012 I wish they had half servings at restaurants for people who had wls because there more of us out there than people know. It would be nice to have guaranteed low carb small portioned options. I wonder if restaurants give adults a hard time for ordering children's menu? I would assume most won't let you... I'm still on liquids so haven't gone out yet. Have you had luck finding low carb ones? The only thing that comes to mind would be like stuffed mushrooms or shrimp cocktail. Jen in SoCal 189 Posted July 22, 2012 We save A TON of money not eating out. We used to do it 2 or 3 times a week. Not to mention take out lunches on work days. I'm sure that has a lot to go do with how I got so fat also! I got one of those cards from my surgeon that says this patron has a surgically reduced stomach, please honor their request to order from the senior or children's menu but have never tried. They never mentioned it. I'm looking forward to the savings just on work lunches. I used to go get takeout every day for lunch so I could smoke. Now not smoking or getting take out. And I lease so will save a ton of miles as well
