I am two weeks post op and I'm now allowed to start "mush." I've tried cottage cheese. I took one taste of baby food and I don't like it. Any ideas for mush? Anyone tried tuna or is that too thick?

Basically anything that is low carb enough can be puréed. Just mix it with chicken, beef, or ham broth, milk or Tomato sauce.

I googled puréed foods and found some good ideas. You can also use cream of chicken/mushroom/etc Soups for purée liquids. I saw cream of mushroom with scrambled eggs and spinach. Or milk with an omelette. I might even try to purée Chinese food!

Can't purée yet but I think garlic shrimp or chicken teriyaki would mush well.
