Is sliming a PB?

Recommended Posts

Veteran Bandsters, Is sliming (which I do more often than I would like) the same as PBing, and therefore dangerous?:phanvan

I know it is to be avoided and is unpleasant but I just don't know how serious it (sliming) is in the bandster scheme of things.

Please explain the difference. I read it somewhere before but am still not clear.:help:

I guess you havent got the mechanical retching stress that you do with a PB (I've only had one but it was quite violent, not as bad as vomiting though) but its probably best that you do what you can to avoid it, accepting of course that it will happen to every bandster out there at times.

FOR me the slimming preceeds PB. The body produces salvia in response to a noxious stimuli- stuck- for me. I have only once slimmed and NOT Pb'd. If I slime thats it I will pb.

i was curious about the sliming too. i slime all the time from eating too fast but i have yet to really PB or have anything but salvia come up. after about 5 or 10 minutes it passes and i am fine. however, for that 5 to 10 min it is very uncomfortable and definetly makes me not want food for many hours.

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
