PaulB 346 Posted August 19, 2012 Cheer up MSLADY things will get better. I think everybody on this Fourm went though some type of depression befor surgery. Then just a few days before surgery the what if's set in. We all go though it . We all made it though and so will you. Your new life is just around the corner . When I started my Journy the Doctor said it would take up to a year before I had surgery. It took 9 months the last 6 months I had to do monthly weigh-ins that was the longest 6 months but really they flew by. 20 days post op I'm down 21 lbs felling go most of the time . Where did the time go. It will be your turn soon. Surgery Anniversary 7/30/12 1 DLCoggin reacted to this
mslady 9 Posted August 20, 2012 Yeah I know it will be okay. Just haven't got the urge to talk about it with anyone around here. Seemed like everyone was busy today. I started all of this in January and will hopefully get a surgery date this week.
PaulB 346 Posted August 20, 2012 Some times our loved ones just don't have time for us and our worries. Just let it out here there will be somebody here that will lend a ear and listen. I have been a truck driver for 35 years been all over the country most say I'm a hard ass and ruff my wife says I'm a marshmallow. Having surgery scared the crap out of me. Never had more then a few stitches. I played the what if game made all kinds of arrangements . Thanks to my wife and kids and this Fourm I would have been a neves wreak. I have learned though all this that I sometimes don't listen to my son when he talks to me. We are busy have a lot going on in our lives, slow down and enjoy what's going on around us while we can. Time goes by way to fast and your time will come. Just tell us your problems and we will lend a ear Surgery Anniversary 7/30/12 1 DLCoggin reacted to this

DLCoggin 1,788 Posted August 20, 2012 A new day and a new life is coming. When you think about it in that context, a month of waiting doesn't seem like such a high price. You're gonna love the new you!!
