kiwiladydee 402 Posted July 20, 2012 What Soups work? What soups made you sick? How far post opp? - I have packets for broccoli and cheddar, but not sure if it will make me sick. - Does creamy Tomato / tomato basil have too much acid?

Jen in SoCal 189 Posted July 20, 2012 I eat Tomato Soup a lot! No problems here! I really want to eat Tomato Soup but it has so much sugar in it! It's always been my favorite. Funny how they make reduced salt but no reduced sugar/ carb soup :-(
DaniG 54 Posted July 20, 2012 Just eat 1/4 cup at a time. That's what I do.
BBdoodle 483 Posted July 20, 2012 I love the Cambell's low fat cream of chicken, cream of celery, or cream of asparagus, creamy Tomato, I have had no problems what so ever with Soups, all the ones I mention were recommended by my doctor. I would add low fat milk to them to up my Protein intake a bit, it makes the soups nice and creamy.
jenneliza 257 Posted July 20, 2012 V8 Soups are good too. I had Tomato basil last night. 1/4 cup is only 3.8 g sugar. A bit on the high side but should not be a problem.
Jen in SoCal 189 Posted July 20, 2012 Just eat 1/4 cup at a time. That's what I do. I would have a hard time controlling myself! liquids are too easy for me, I could probably have a whole cup. Like I said, it's my favorite!
