Another thing to consider is estrogen is stored in fat. As you start loosing weight, your body will be processing the stored estrogen on top of everything else. The first three weeks were so hard for me, then I had my first post op appointment and was released to start reintroducing solid foods slowly. I think that helped tremendously because it restored a sense of normalcy in my life. I was able to start venturing away from home a little more without worrying about mush. Exercise helped as well

Thanks ocean. I'm looking forward to some normalcy soon. Its one hell of a roller coaster ride so far!
