Ryanband07 0 Posted January 29, 2007 I've been reading a lot of threads on here where people talk about how hungry they were until they got their 1st fill. I was wondering if this was the case w/ everyone? I'm 4 days post op now and the hunger pains have gone away. I'd really like it to stay that way. I'm starting to get nervous that over the next few days/weeks i'll become very hungry. I've already started weighing my self like a million times aday. I'm starting to get a little obsessed. Any one else gone through this? Any and all advice/thoughts and or ideas are welcomed. Talk care y'all
juno610 1 Posted January 29, 2007 Hey there. I'm about a week out, and still not hungry. Don't worry about what has not happened yet. Just take it a day at a time. About the scale, try not to get on more than once a day. Your weight will most likely fluctuate a lot during the day because of fluids, so why drive yourself crazy? I weigh almost every day in the morning as soon as I get up. Hang in there! Maria
katieo 0 Posted January 29, 2007 Hi there! I haven't had the band yet, but saving hard!! I just wanted to comment on the obsessive weighing, I feel that weighing too much is a bad idea although i can imagine how tempting it is. The thing is we begin to judge ourselves by the number on the scales and give ourselves a hard time if we haven't lost anything. The way I look at it is, you've got a powerful weight loss tool inside of you and if you work with it you WILL undoubtedly lose weight so just try and go with the flow, have fun and take extra good care of yourself. GOOD LUCK!!! X Katie
juliegeraci 7 Posted January 29, 2007 Its not uncommon to stay at the not hungry stage before your first fill. Its quite common to lose hunger. You may not get it back.
FurEllie 0 Posted January 29, 2007 I'm not scheuduled until the first week of March and I'm already petrified, lol. Surgery is surgery. My goal now is to find a doctor who's close who will work on Mexico banded patients. I want to make sure I have a back up plan in case there's an emergency.
