They told me that mine would after the surgery....WELL, now they've realized after all these years I have type 1 and the surgery does not help that :-(

I'm sorry. Maybe just keep hanging in there? 8 weeks is a good amount of time but maybe you are just extra resistant. Fingers crossed for you.

I don't understand that they are just figuring that out! That's insane!

I always heard it goes away after surgery. Is it getting better?

I just spoke to my Dr. He said it can take up to 3 months to fully go away.
