kmiller 146 Posted July 11, 2012 IM going to my follow up appointment with my surgeon today and I'm scare senseless that he'll be mad that I haven't lost as much weight as I should, but I don't know what else to do. This is probably silly, but it is what it is. I'll let you know how iy goes.
kmiller 146 Posted July 11, 2012 I'm about 10 weeks out. After waiting for an hour and a half, I saw the PA, and not the surgeon. I've lost about 51 lbs, and they seemed ok with that. I guess I expect too much out of myself.

Rhon 7 Posted July 11, 2012 The main thing is do not compare yourself to others weight loss. You are your own person and will loose different from others. Also the expected weight loss in one year is 100lbs, so you are doing wonderful. 2 amanda11 and my3stars reacted to this

kmiller 146 Posted July 12, 2012 Thanks all! I need to clarify, however. Thirteen pounds of the 51 were after I started my liquid pre- op Protein diet. The other 38 have been since the surgery, and they were ok with that. 2 EEsMom and Rhon reacted to this
