Candi_83 10 Posted July 7, 2012 I am 9 days post op and I have had the most awefull lower left abdominal pain. My muscles are so sore it hurts to sit for too long, hurts to stand up straight, it even hurts to talk some times. I pain meds the dr gave me didn't even touch it. I'm now on muscle relaxers and still not getting much relief. The pain go a little better once the drain came out on day 10. Has anyone else experienced this kind of pain? If so was there anything you did that made it feel better?
Ocean0527 23 Posted July 7, 2012 In the hospital they gave me warm compresses to put on my very painful muscles. It didn't make the pain stop but made it more tolerable. Sent from my VS920 4G using RNYTalk
aleyampat 22 Posted July 8, 2012 Candi, I have the same issues. I use a heating pad. I cannot sit up straight cause it makes the pain too intense. I also have muscle relaxers and narcotics. Though I don't believe they do much. Docs keep telling me it's normal and I just need to give my body time to recover. It's significantly better than it used to be but it still hurts like crazy! 1 Candi_83 reacted to this

lynn 49 Posted July 8, 2012 If your far enough out try eating a banana.... my muscles have been killing me and the bananas really help with the pain and cramps Sent from my DROID RAZR using RNYTalk
