Candi_83 10 Posted July 7, 2012 Hello everyone. Today I am 9 days post of from lap roux n y. However 18 months ago I had gastric sleeve. I struggled with weight loss after about 40 pounds. After trying everything to loose weight, one year out the dr and I decided that it was time to discuss doing the surgery again. I tried for 4 month to get insurance to pay for a resleeve and they denied it Everytime. So as june approached I told the doc to try to get bypass approved. It was. I had my bypass on June 28. I am still really sore, tired, and in WAY more pain than I was with the sleeve. I never joined a forum or read on one after sleeve. I also never really had a support group. This time I'm doing it different. This time I will succeed and hit my goal weight. :-) 1 atcgoddess1 reacted to this

Candi_83 10 Posted July 7, 2012 That is how I felt after my gastric sleeve. I hosted a party at my house 4 days post op and was back teaching 10 days post op. this time not so much. Up until today I felt like I could barely move without the inside of my stomach feeling like it was being ripped in half. My husband says its Gods way of not letting me over do it this time. :-) Congratulations in your decision and good luck in your weightloss journey.
