Is It Normal To Have Horse Voice?

Recommended Posts

I hub had surgery last tuesday and he is doing great! He is already eating puréed and drinking and doing good no nausea I'm impressed! Ready for my surg now!(July 11) but his voice is horse! Like bad but we don't know why it hasn't worn off yet. Can someone tell me if they went thru this? I was gonna call the doctor cause we are getting worried they might have hurt his vocal cords. Thanks for any answers

Could be from the intubation. It never hurts to call the doc.

Definitly could be from intubation also did he have oxygen while in the hospital via nasal cannula? That also will cause. It like makes the throat dehydrated. But always safe to call dr!
