Jen in SoCal 189 Posted July 2, 2012 I thought my knee pain would be gone after losing 50lbs but it's not. I think mine is just damaged past the point of no return.
leonwittner 11 Posted July 2, 2012 I have lost 66 and haven't really felt any difference in my bad knee. My Doctor told me once the bone is damaged nothing brings it back, but the pressure relief will help some. I am still getting used to not taking Advil as that made a huge difference when I could. DLCoggin 1,788 Posted July 2, 2012 My back and knees definitely improved dramatically following the surgery so I think you can count on some improvement and it may pretty much disappear. Walking is critically important. The sooner you start walking the better. Start slow and work your way up. 1 TinyMamiOf3kids reacted to this

Sometimes it does depend I'm guessing. If you been carrying around a lot of weight the knee can become damage but only a doctor can tell you better.
