I was shopping at costco with hubby. I actually needed shorts it's too hot. I'm between 18 & 16.. You know when you stretch out your pants it's the perfect fit that's my issue.

Well I was looking at size 16 put it against my body & asked hubby doesn't these pants look big? He just looked. I picked up a size 14 & they look perfect & I thought is this my size now.

Wala!!!!! I'm a size 14 I try them on perfect fit all the way. Looks like soon I'll be wearing my bikini just like summer.

Thanks :) I'm happy. Been over 15 years since I been near a size 13 and look I'm a 14 I couldn't believe.

Thanks to all. I'm losing my self in who to give thanks to lolz... I can't believe in just one month of surgery Today is my 1 month surgery. I can't believe that in a short time I lost weight went from 211pounds to now 172pounds.I don't weight daily or weekly. I weight when my doctor weights me. Now I'm more happy because I'm able to eat. Now I have to make better choices with food. I have a bunch of fruits at home a small piece at a time gonna enjoy my fruits & take my Calcium. I feel so much better. Even if all I could fit is 2 bites of food and try to eat 6 times a day it's a really enjoyable bite.

      Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
      1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

        All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

      I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
