See now why do jobs have to be so anal I could see if you wore disrespectful things to work in them but if you wore something nice and tasteful I can't see why they would say that it kinda sucks because it's like telling you that you can't have your ears pierced!! I'm getting ready to start school in September for dental assisting and when I go to get a job I'm putting the plugs in that look like skin so they won't know I have mine!

I have one tattoo. I have my ears pierced that's it. No more tattoo or piercing for me. I'm having the one tattoo I do have removed in the future.

The photo wasn't coming put right so next time or later will post up.

My shop does that too, but at a half inch it is hard not to notice someone with large lobes. Lol And my ears are back to normal anyhow, I home my tummy is as fortunate.

I have 5 tattoos and 3 piercings in each ear. One tattoo is on my right thigh and is the size of a dinner plate. Sometimes I forget I have it until I put on shorts LOL I have one on my left wrist that is in chinese writing which means "Open the eyes" - to remind me how lucky I am, how beautiful everything truly is and to be thankful. I have a butterfly on my left foot with a lotus flower and swirly q's, the last two are above each ankle...one is a tulip and lady bug, the other a sunflower and bumble bee. Hoping to get one more on my left thigh of an angel holding an american flag or depending on what my leg looks like I may carry on with the butterflies all the way up my leg. we'll see :)

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
