Overnight only[/quote'] Ugh they literally had to pull me out of bed because my stomach hurt SO bad that if I tried to lean up i was crying from excruciating pain. lovealways 287 Posted July 11, 2012 How long did it take to go back to work? How long did it take to be able to drive again? I have a desk job, so not much moving, but I was hoping it would take a week to two weeks at most to return to "normal" daily living.

amanda11 50 Posted July 11, 2012 I was in 2 nights had a swallow test day after surgery. I had to get down 4 medicine cups an hr of Water every hr in order to go home. Couldn't but they didn't know that I'm doing good though. They said I'll return to work in a month and I do extremely heavy lifting! But we will see bc I think it should be longer

Ocean0527 23 Posted July 11, 2012 I was given a range between 2 to 6 Weeks. I took the full six Weeks so I could assist and regain my strength. I have one more week off and I am glad I took the extra time. Sent from my VS920 4G using RNYTalk

Including surgery, I was out for a week and a half. I started driving a week after surgery, but I have a small suv that is easy to get in and out of.
