kiwiladydee 402 Posted June 28, 2012 Hello! My husband was not in favor of surgery at all!! He thought I was fine the way that I was, he enjoyed our dining/ eating lifestyle, and he thought I was too unhealthy for the recovery (fibromyalgia, Migraines, arthritis, etc). Michelle96 13 Posted June 28, 2012 Mine was supportive he said I had to do it for me and that he would be behind me 100% no matter what I chose.

cbrks2012 23 Posted June 28, 2012 @ Michelle that's great that your husband supported you and the decision you made. I myself have a great husband too who just wants me to with myself (which I'm not) but things Will get better soon enough.
KevinsBabyGirl85 364 Posted June 28, 2012 My husband didn't really want me to have surgery because he thought because I was big no one would be interested in me! Now that I'm "skinny" as people put it he's super jealous and he's scared that I'm going to find someone else....he even made the most rude remark to me last night about my flab and told me that I should find someone on here to be with that way we could be flabby together it really hurt my feelings. So I would say he was supportive about me getting the surgery but not so much afterwards! Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk
kiwiladydee 402 Posted June 28, 2012 Hi Vamp, That's such a horrible thing he said. But, he probably does not know how to handle his emotions right now. All of this is new to the husbands too.
nish 102 Posted June 28, 2012 Bummer Vamp. A lot of men do not know how words effect women,

Sounds like he may need some counseling to deal with your transition. My fiancé was a little unsure about me doing it till he seen that it was what I really wanted. He has been supportive until we get in a fight and then he isn't always so nice. Why is it the ones we love are the ones who hurt us the most. I think my fiancé is a bit like your husband. He is insecure and won't admit it. My man is getting better I hope yours will too. But know matter how they act we both have to do "us". Good luck:-)
Michelle96 13 Posted June 29, 2012 That's not cool Vamp, he needs to get himself right. My husband made comments like if you cheat I'll kill you and him and giggled, or best not go slute with that new body. But we laugh and joke we been married over 15 years. If he dared to say anything negitive to me I'd put him in his place one we been married to long for that crap and it was for better or worse. Honey don't let him bring you down he sounds jealious and he needs to get over himself and treat you like the princess you are and spoil you and enjoy this new body. 1 KevinsBabyGirl85 reacted to this

Patel in London and you are at Lakenheath? I'm scheduled with him for next Thursday! I live in Mildenhall. I'm so scared! Can you email me? I'm having trouble posting on this app. Mandy.itouch@gmail.com
