Does anyone know how long you have to wait before you can get in the pool after surgery because I want to start my Water walking and aerobics.

I am 2 weeks post op and can go in the pool for 20 mins. Are your incisions all closed ? If so you should be good. U may want to check with your surgeon

My surgeon said it takes four weeks for them to heal all the way even if scab is gone it can still have cracks that bacteria can get into.

I would call your Dr. and see what he/she says. All of them say something different. I had to wait for 2 weeks, but I had an open surgery, and I have my own pooil.

I was told that after all incisions are closed, then swimming is okay.

I too was told once incisions are closed. A concern us that your skin softens up when you soak in Water so even rounds that seem closed could pucker. They advised short amounts of time after about 2 weeks - no hot tubs for awhile for same reason and you can get lightheaded very fast from high temp
