Jessica89 16 Posted June 15, 2012 If there is anyone from Michigan on this site I would like to share a piece of information with you. On september 22nd there will be a walk for Obesity at potters park zoo in Lansing MI. There is a registration fee but I am not sure how much yet and what time it starts. If anyone that lives close to lansing would like to come please private message me and I can get you more info when I know. This walk for obesity actually gives the proceeds to patients who are overweight and don't have insurance and cannot afford the surgery. Its amazing what they are doing! bellepink77 44 Posted June 15, 2012 I'm in Chicago. Lansing isn't that far and I'd love to do it. I feel for people whom can't afford it or don't have insurance. I'm blessed to have a public service employed husband who has phenomenal insurance. I didn't even have a copay. Not one red cent for NY surgery. Even got my Vitamins covered!
