Michelle96 13 Posted June 13, 2012 I drink decaff when available like coffee and tea. I don't drink a lot of it anyway but if I do have it I order decaff. I've tryed caffeinated and I got the jitters really bad.

DLCoggin 1,788 Posted June 16, 2012 I'm 34 weeks out and a coffee drinker both pre-op and post-op. I usually drink Decaf since the surgery but if I'm out and about and caffeinated is all I can get - I go for it. Haven't had any problems but I probably didn't have any caffeinated coffee for at least four months following surgery. I was quite worried about switching to decaf as I was not a big fan pre-op. But I drink Keurig coffee at home and their decaf is very close to being every bit as good as their caffeinated. I drink two to three cups a day with Splenda and flavored Creamers. Great "snack" or for dessert - low calorie, good for you (loaded with antioxidants) and filling. Highly recommended!
ChatCat 24 Posted June 20, 2012 Hello. I am new here but wanted to jump in. I have read that caffeine can interfere with Vitamin absorption. If you google this question you will see there is a lot of discussion about this topic. I think everyone is different and if your lab work is ok then it probably is not an issue for you. Just wanted to put it out there. Personally, I have given it up and don't feel I need it. My Vitamins are more important to me! DLCoggin 1,788 Posted June 22, 2012 I gave up caffeinated coffee. But the only way anyone is getting my Decaf is to pry it out of my cold dead fingers!! LOL!! 1 Tammy483 reacted to this
