Also well known bypass patient Star Jones had to have open heart surgery a few years after bypass. But when I step outside my hypochondria I've noticed that its if I eat a piece of meat that's a little too tough. If I'm eating something and I can chew it down to its puree form I now spit it out...like the other day I accidentally swallowed a piece of rib tip that wasn't chewed enough and my heart hurt for hours. They told me to chew everything 30 times but sometimes it takes more than that Sent from my Nexus S 4G using RNYTalk
BBdoodle 483 Posted June 12, 2012 I am 8 wks. post op and once I had real bad pains right in the middle of my chest, right below my boods. It was really bad... I thought I was having a heart attack, I called me dr. and they said it may be gall stones. I had a ultrasound done and sure enough I had a bunch of gallstones that caused the attack. I am having gallbladder removal surgery on the 26th - arrrrhhhhh. You may want to check with your doctor about this pain.
Panda 354 Posted June 12, 2012 Yeah checking with Dr is always a good idea. I had my gallbladder removed 10 years ago...and the type of chest pains I got were sharp and in my heart. I think my was indigestion because I felt like I needed to fart or burp but couldn't but most definitely gonna mention it to the Dr in two weeks. I'm 12 weeks post op.
