NatRDH 0 Posted June 8, 2012 My lower back almost tailbone area has been causing me excrutiating pain. I called my surgeons office & they said it normal from rapid weight loss. To exercise those muscles more because they are used to be more fluffly covered by fat. & we are using areas of our body that weren't used as much before. So hope that helps a little. I called my surgeon today also. I was told to keep an eye on it because my legs hurt too. I see my PCP next month and will be doing bloodwork. We shall see.
