When did people start noticing your weight loss?

Recommended Posts

All I can say is I would rather have people say nothing than say

" Wow, you've lost a TON of weight, you used to be huge":omg:

I get that quite often, I'm not offended tho, shhheee I was huge, still am. I have been told several times that they did not recongnize me, that's good:heh: Maybe I can slip in and out of places without being noticed:heh: . At church I draw a crowd sometimes :biggrin1: I can't imagine what will happen at the end of the year when I reach a 200 lb lost.

;) Oh yeah, most people first noticed at a 50-65lb lost.

People are just starting to comment now, about the 40lb point! I have dropped from a size 20 to 14 and they're just noticing it now!?!? sheesh!

I've lost 33 lbs so far, and no one has said anything except my DH. I'm thinking another 20 lbs and I'll be below 200 and people will start to notice. I really don't care, because "I" notices the difference for sure!

Every one began to ask me Are you loseing weight?????

No!!!!, you don't think so do ya??? Yeagh!, maybe. It kinda looks that way to me.

75Lbs lighter. Wow what did you do!!!!!!! can I do it to?

people with this weight loss thing blow me away they really do.

They want to no how.

They are pissed at me, and no longer talk to me, cause they are still heavy.

Of course some people are delighted.

I saw my surgeon yesterday, and they are asking me to possibley become a spokes person for them, and the Lap Band, at there meetings I guess.

They have been kicking this around, and this is the first i hear of it. I'm sure they will kick it around untill more weight comes off. Shirley..:decision:

YES!!! They are wierd arent they!!

When I was in high school I lost 19 pounds and nobody but my librarian said a damn thing. I was so disappointed. I was starting from 204 then on a 5'7" frame.

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
