No. I'm waiting on my membership card to a gym I just joined. I've gotten so lazy after I retired I sit way too much. I seem to lack motivation. I have a beautiful in ground pool that I've not even been in this summer. I don't know what's wrong with me

I am not sure how far out from surgery you are, but exercise is key and the protein...which is the two things I struggle with. The pool should help with your exercise. I notice myself feeling down a lot since the surgery. I pick myself back up a lot, but maybe you need something (like a prize) to help motivate you. I just ate Mexican because I got down to 250. I ate chicken fajitas (just the chicken and vegetables). But it was amazing.

I know I saw your pool you are one lucky lady!!! I love it!!! I'm so jealous!! Are you walking? I know muscle weighs more than fat so you could be gaining muscle and loosing inches!

No, Vamp I haven't been doing much of anything. I had some fairly severe pain under my ribs which they discovered was a Fluid filled mass, so I really didn't do anything for quite awhile. The pain has pretty much resolved so I think I can get with the program now. If the pain comes back then I have to have more tests. Thanks for the compliment on my pool. I'd love to have you come and use it. I think I'll reward mysel after I get below 200 with a vacation to Hawaii.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
